The National Hillel Basketball Tournament is a non-profit, student-led organization that brings together all types of Jewish college students from universities across the country to determine the best Jewish college basketball teams. Housed annually at the University of Maryland, the tournament encompasses a memorable weekend where students from Hillel Houses everywhere compete for the prized “Kiddush Cup.” This year, 51 teams from 36 different schools will play in the tournament games. And most excitingly, the games will be taking place in Maryland’s Xfinity Center—home of Maryland terrapin basketball. For the first time ever, students will have the chance to play on the same courts as some of the top college-basketball athletes in the league! Between the events, activities and basketball games, this weekend is truly one to be a part of.
